Hair loss due to underactive thyroid
Posted by Diane Donohoe on 19th Nov 2015
I was diagnosed with underactive thyroid 8 months ago. I have been losing my hair and it is very fine and lifeless, since trying swell trial pack I noticed an immediate difference. It feels and looks thicker and although I have only used it 3 times the condition is much improved.
An excellent product!

Having used Swell products for just a week my hair feels & looks thicker, my scalp feels healthier & I seem to have less hair loss ... altogether an excellent hair product!
Not blown away

I was genuinely excited when I found this range and read the reviews but so far am definitely not seeing the results that other reviewers describe. My hair feels in better condition but with regards to volume - I just cannot see a marked difference. Overall a bit disappointed.

Bought this for going away, use full size at home. Find it helps my hair condition and style if used half of the week, gets a bit dull if used full time. However have being used for over 18 months as really works to give my hair body.
Still deciding if works

I feel as if my hair is fuller but I have very damaged fine aging hair and when I wash with this it makes my hair very dry until it is dried then the top feels lovely, the ends though are still dry and look damaged. I.m going to try another packet of trail product before I invest in the full range
Yep, I'd recommend

The first time I used this ( exactly as prescribed) my hair looked a bit straw like and felt slick around the roots. However on the second wash the following day my hair looked great. The shampoo and conditioner smell amazing! I have shoulder length hair and use about a tea spoon of each product which is about right as there are supposed to be 15 washes in the trial set.
I have been using for almost two weeks along with the mask and I find that my hair is soft and shiny with lots of body. I even find that I don't need to wash my hair every day as it doesn't go greasy!
To be honest the only down side I find is the cost, however I'd imagine that because you don't need to use loads of the stuff it may last quite a while so may work out relatively similar to other non supermarket brands, and I think it's fab there's no nasties being absorbed into my skin or washed into our environment. I will be getting the full size stuff.
Best results for my fine and thinning hair in years

Wonderful results! The scent isn't bad however I would like to see it have a little more of a fresh scent to match its color.
Well, Swell, you have been an absolute godsend!!!!!
I became very concerned when I first noticed my post-menopausal thinning hair a few years ago. I went into panic mode, tried all sorts of products (had to be natural of course) but nothing seemed to work. Then I had a chance conversation with a very knowledgeable M&S assistant who recommended Swell. She did stress that I needed to give it time - makes sense I suppose when you consider speed of hair growth.
I felt a differnce from day one. My hair felt and looked thicker and my scalp felt 'alive'. I am now into my second year, have used nothing else, my hair is so much thicker and I rarely have any precious hair sitting in the shower hair trap. I'm on my second batch (that's economy) and my only concern is 'what if they stop producing this amazing product '. I was devestated when I learned that M&S have stopped selling Swell - I would use my 20% discount which is a huge help. I guess it's 'shop around' time.
So please, continue your good work, and thank you for producing a 'self esteem saving product'.
